OK Y'all. This is Ms. Nine Lives. As you know, I'm the one and only true authority on what 3LW is really up to. So this is the deal. The girls just finished the video to the first single off the new Jimmy Neutron soundtrack. In case you don't know, that's Aaron Carter's new movie due out in December. 3LW did a song with Nick Cannon (Nickelodeon) and Lil Romeo. They sang the chorus and Kiely was rapping along with Lil Romeo and Nick. It is gonna be really hot. MTV did a "making of the video" and you guys will really enjoy that.
Also, 3LW has recorded 10 songs for their new LP. The LP is HOT HOT HOT!. They still have to record with Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott next week. They are also doing a song with Allstar (He did the hit single "Stutter" with JOE and Mystikal). Then we're all finished. You guys are gonna be really happy with this record. The girls have been in LA for the past 2 months recording. They've been working out with a trainer because they want to have stomachs like Britney Spears (LOL). Send your congrats to AG because she just finished high school. Naturi just finished her junior year and Kiely just finished freshman year. They were about 2 months behind because of the TRL tour.
They're headed home next week for Thanksgiving holiday. Next year is gonna be off the hook! There is no group like 3LW. They rule! You're gonna love the new LP! We haven't been wasting any time...just getting ready to put it down in 2002

First, I want to thank all of the loyal 3LW fans for staying with them. In a year where the "hype" seemed to be more important than the "truth" and "true talent", I'm glad that 3LW stayed true to the game and represented for all young sistas, particularly the ones "of color." We should all be proud! So far, they've sold 1.2Million records and are still going. But most importantly, they've been great role models and have shown that beauty comes in all sizes and complexions. Most importantly, they're proud to be who they are and where they're from.
Now, what's next! As soon as the girls get off the TRL tour, they'll be recording their new LP! I've already selected 10 songs and they've been rehearsing them. If you saw the Lady of Soul Awards, you got a glimpse of the new direction we plan to take with the choreography. It was HOT!! The songs for the new LP are da bomb! You guys on the board area part of the 3LW ARMY!. I'll be opening the new Nine Lives Entertainment web site in the next few weeks and you will be able to find information on joining the one and only 3LW Fan Club.
3LW is the truth. Stay with us and watch how the represent for 2002! We're just getting started! | |
